It’s all about the data baby!
The Journey Begins January has been full of newness! We kicked off the month with the publishing of the Our Data Matters Results and the reopening of the Survey to collect more data! Click the hyper links to check them out and SHARE SHARE SHARE!
Train em up!
This months training became available on the 15th! It is an introduction to the concept of trauma, triggers, and the various ways we cope. It can be found on our Resource page with the other donation bases classes or you can get it directly here!
A Courageous Choice
And of course, our Catalytic Conversation! It is difficult to put into words the magic that was created in the space. A group of us came together in community to share when we realized it was time to give some intention to our past in order to have a better experience in our present. For some of us it felt less like a choice and more like an inevitability. Some of the language left in the space was “I feel safe” “I feel seen.” For me as the creator of the space, their responses meant the world to me!
Dust Your Shoulders Off: A ReBOOT!
And lastly, a podcast! From Shadow to Sacred it’s Sex in the RAW is making a come back, sorta. Kinda. We are dusting the shoulders off of the old cast and giving it a fresh name and focus and will be re-emerging as Heal On Purpose with Doc YuRoc!
I will still talk about all of things but with the audience being Black folks with a history of sexual trauma. Still talking about sex, poly, BDSM, asexuality, trauma, Audacity, all the things with US as the focus! First up under the rebrand will be a recap of this months Catalytic Conversation with some snippets for the participants so stay tuned for that and feel free to check out some of the old episodes under the old brand for old times sake while you wait!

Oh February will be coming in HOT with F&$K Love February! Make sure you are checking the calendar for events often to stay in the know! We are super excited to be able to offer an in person option for the upcoming Catalytic Conversation so for our Chi-Town area folks, we hope to see you there! And no worries, virtual will continue to be an option because we want all of our peeps in the space and place!
