Participants will learn about big “T” versus little “t” trauma so that they have the capacity to identify and acknowledge their own traumas as well as our triggers. Click the hyper link to sign-up. EVENTS TBA (More than one event is planned!)

July is all about JOY. As we intentionally lean into our process of healing we can often get lost in the pain and the best way out of suffering is through intentional acts of joy, and for Black folks, that’s a radical act!

EVENTS TBA

Survivors of abuse often do not have an outlet for their rage and are made to feel that they can not even acknowledge that they are angry let alone express it, making it unpredictable, volatile, and destructive. Hell yeah we’re angry, and in August we are going to talk about it, write about it, rap about it…

EVENTS TBA- Pen Your Pain

Unfortunately the anger we don’t address often turns inward and dissolves into shame silencing us and severing our relationship with ourselves. This month we shine a light on the shame hidden in the shadows and begin to reconcile with SELF!

In honor of LGBTQIA+ Heritage Month we are focusing on the unspoken experiences of sexual trauma in the Black LGBTQIA+ community.

EVENTS TBA

Having your experiences denied, dismissed, and disbelieved by those closest to you is a different type of devastation. This month we discuss not being supported when we reported our sexual trauma and the impact it has had.

Healing is a spiral. We will find ourselves faced with the same ish over and over again. However, our view will be different as we elevate in our process. So if it feels like you haven’t made progress, dust your shoulders off, you have. That wisdom was hard won. Now, let’s GO!
